Golf at Fairfield Glade
Although there are countless other activities which attract people to Fairfield Glade, golf has to be at the top of the list. Fairfield Glade is home to five championship golf courses with a combined total of 90 holes to challenge every player. The most well known golf course at Fairfield Glade is Stonehenge, recently named in Golf Digest’s top courses and the third best course in Tennessee.
Considering the fact that Fairfield Glade’s golf courses are in the same geographical location, the variety of courses is remarkable. If mountain vistas appeal to you, Druid Hills is your choice. If you are spraying your shots and prefer relatively flat land with beautiful surroundings, try Heatherhurst, our 36 hole course. If you are hitting them short but straight and like contrasting nines, Dorchester will provide. If you want something even more challenging, the blue tees at Stonehenge are available for those who feel they might have "professional" ability. As a matter of fact, the Tennessee Senior Open and the Tennessee Women’s Open were recently hosted at Stonehenge Golf Course!
Due to our mild Southern weather, golf is played almost year-round at Fairfield Glade. With the changing seasons, the spectacular vistas on each course are ever-changing. Playing golf at Fairfield Glade is always a "new" experience.
The pictures you see predominately in our marketing materials are not from a professional photographer and are not modified to enhance their beauty. These are from an amateur photographer with a passion for his profession of golf and love of photography − we have become, and continue to be the beneficiary of this love. Steve Kraft, PGA is our amazing photographer and was one of Fairfield Glade’s most respected golf pros, serving the community in that role for over 11 years before retiring... to Fairfield Glade, of course!
