Five Spectacular Golf Courses.
Crossville is known as the “Golf Capital of Tennessee,” and our five incredible courses here at Fairfield Glade certainly have something to do with that! With a combined total of 90 holes, we have a course to challenge every player and the variety will really add some “spice” to your golf life!
Enjoy mountain vistas along our Druid Hills course, or, if you’re spraying shots and desire relatively flat land with beautiful surroundings, you’ll love Heatherhurst, which offers 36 holes.
If you are hitting them short but straight and like contrasting nines, Dorchester is tailormade for you. If you want something even more challenging, the blue tees at Stonehenge are ideal for golfers with pro skills.
Stonehenge & Heatherhurst (The Brae) Again Voted 2023 Golfweek’s Top Courses You Can Play in TN!
Stonehenge
We are excited to announce that Stonehenge was voted #2 in Golfweek’s Best Courses You Can Play in TN for 2024!
Stonehenge Golf Club was ranked #2 in the 2024 Golfweek Magazine’s “Best Courses You Can Play in Tennessee,” and has placed in their top five annual rankings for the past several years. The course is proud to host the Tennessee Senior State Open, Tennessee Golf Association Father-Son Championship, The Golf Capital of Tennessee Women’s Open and the Challenge Cup Matches.
Featuring bent grass tees, greens and fairways for prime playing conditions, Stonehenge adopted its name from the walls of native stone found throughout the 6,549-yard, Par 72 layout. Masterfully designed by architect Joe Lee, natural rock outcroppings come into play on several holes. Signature #14 offers a 15-foot layered stone retaining wall running along the left and rear of the hole.
Heatherhurst Brae
Heatherhurst (The Brae) was again voted #4 in Golfweek’s Best Courses You Can Play in TN for 2024!
Who’s up for a 36-hole day? You can do it here with lunch between rounds. Heatherhurst Golf Club offers two beautiful courses, the Crag and the Brae.
Designed by Gary Roger Baird, the front 9 on the Brae course provides the most challenge. In fact, the 4th hole is said to be one of the toughest Par 5’s in Tennessee! The back 9 offers beautiful undulating fairways , encroaching bunkers and views overlooking Lake Dartmoor. The only course in the area with Zoysia grass fairways means The Brae stands up well to play during the hottest summer months.
Heatherhurst Crag
Heatherhurst Golf Club offers two beautiful courses, the Crag and the Brae.
Heatherhurst’s Crag course is player-friendly, offering Bent grass tees and greens, wide fairways (great for short hitters,) and strategically placed bunkers add to the fun! The Crag’s signature hole, #17, offers an overlook at the tee that will have you pausing to take in the view. A favorite among our furry and feathered friends, don’t be surprised to see deer, turkey, squirrels or other passersby on the Crag course.
Dorchester
This spectacular 18-hole course, designed by Bobby Greenwood, offers narrow, tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers amidst mountain views, and water on six of its unique holes. Dorchester’s bent grass greens and park-like setting have always made it a challenging favorite among golfers, and we’re certain you’ll enjoy it, too!
Druid Hills
In 1970 the first 9 holes of golf opened for play in Fairfield Glade. All 18 holes were completed in 1973 and the championship course was named Druid Hills Golf Club. Located on the highest point in Fairfield Glade, as the name suggest, Druid Hills provides several scenic views of the surrounding mountains. With rolling, tree-lined fairways, plenty of water, several doglegs, and undulation bent grass greens, Druid Hills is a true test of golf. Druid Hills Golf Club is open to members, Fairfield Glade guests, and the general public with some restrictions.
