Fairfield Glade has its own paramedic team and ambulance on call 24 hours a day. They are located at our fire department and security center. Our security officers are professionally trained and certified, also offering 24-hour protection for the residents.
Cumberland Medical Center (CMC) is an acute-care hospital located in Crossville on the Cumberland Plateau of middle Tennessee. The hospital has served the Cumberland community since 1950 and joined Covenant Health in 2014. Cumberland Medical Center offers specialized services not usually found in rural areas, making health care resources more widely accessible to local residents. Currently licensed for 189 beds, Cumberland has more than 200 affiliated physicians working with nearly 700 employees and approximately 125 dedicated volunteers who deliver high-quality care to patients. Physician specialties include anesthesiology, cardiology, neurology, obstetrics, ophthalmology, oncology, pediatrics, radiology and radiation oncology and urology services.
Wellness
CMC offers two facilities conveniently located in the center of Fairfield Glade. Its Wellness Complex is a complete gym membership experience that includes certified fitness instructors, classes, an indoor walking track and indoor pool. The Medical Arts services include outpatient physical therapy, an ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and primary care office. State of the Art
Cumberland Medical Center offers a state of the art Regional Cancer Center with Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), hyperbaric medicine and wound center and an inpatient rehabilitation facility. For seriously ill patients, there is advanced medical and surgical services including telemetry and intensive care units. For other patients there is a state of the art outpatient program and same day surgery unit. For elderly citizens, the CMC Auxiliary sponsors the Lifeline program, which is a personal emergency response system in their homes and connected to the Emergency Department at Cumberland Medical Center.
A full service clinical laboratory, diagnostic, radiology, physical medicine and cardiopulmonary and cardiac rehab departments support these services.
